My stud muffin

About 2 weeks ago, we went to a wedding and I figured it was a great excuse to dress Remington up. Found the cutest little outfit for him. And of course, I couldn't resist taking him outside and doing a little photo shoot.

2 more teeth!

2 more teeth came in today - 2 more on the bottom so he now has 4 on bottom 2 on top. Remi was great about it. No fever, no drooling, no fussy-ness. He's such a good teether.

Zoo day!

We wanted to do something fun to get us out of the house so we decided on the Phoenix Zoo. Both grandmas came with , my mom and Mikes mom, and could just tell Remington LOVED having them both there.
We saw birds, fish, bears, monkeys (those were his favorite), giraffes, hippos, deer , a peacock that wouldn't leave us alone and even spent time in the petting zoo.
We had a blast!! Remi did manage to nap during the flamingo exhibit :) Can't wait to take him again!!

Play day at the Park

Daddy took a WHOLE week off from work so we decided to go to the park and have a pic-nic. This park is just down the street from us. We've never been there so it was exciting to go somewhere new. Remi LOVED it! He swang in the swing for a bit and loved when daddy would push him realllly high. Then Remi bounced around on the see saw thingy. He wasn't too fond of the sand. Its still super hott here in September so we made it a quick trip. It was about *100 by 11am so we ate lunch fast (Remi doesn't take the heat well). But I did manage to get some cute pictures of him in the grass. We'll try again next week :)

12-6 ....His birthday!!!

I don't have a picture of it but Remis 2nd top tooth broke in this morning! WOO!!!

Play Group

We had another fun day at play group today!! We went to a "Mommy and Me Music class". It was great! We sat in a circle, let the kids lose and dance and sang. We also got to play with some musical instruments. Remi loved it and we plan on doing it again!

9 Months old!!

Weight: He weighs 19.13 lbs (20%)
 
Height: He is 29 inches tall (90%)

Head Size: 17.8 inches (50%)

Diaper Size: He wears size medium and large cloth diapers and size 4 in disposables

Clothes Size: Mostly 9-12  months and sometimes 18 months

Sleep: Hes getting back to his old routine. He goes to bed by 9pm and then wakes up around 7am. Takes a morning nap around 10am for an hour and then an afternoon nap sometime around 2pm. That one is his longer nap in which mommy can get chores done :) BUT--- ironically the 2 days that I have to get up at 5am to go to work, he wakes up too!!!! Its like he knows mommy is leaving and needs his morning cuddles and kisses.

Favorite Activities: He loves to explore! He is sooo independent and is very curious and is always disappearing. He loves singing and is starting to 'dance' when he hears music. He also loves to feed the dogs his treats. He laughs so hard when they come up to him and eat out of his hand.

Favorite Toys: He loves all his toys that light up and make noise. And although its not a toy, he loves going for the cords and the keyboards for the computer.

Eating: He drinks about 2-4 bottles a day that are 6oz. He eats some rice cereal in the morning, snacks on his puffs throughout the day and then some more baby food at dinner time. He loves people food though so he'll get a bite or 2 at dinner off our plates.

Talking: He says Dada all the time still, screams "Yea" all day and is starting to make the "K" sound. He also says the "B" sound and "G" sounds. He also knows "food" in sign language.

Milestones: He is monkey crawls on everything. He will even walk from the coffee table to the couch sometimes letting go in the process. Everyone thinks he'll be walking by his first birthday.


Remington is such a  wonderful baby. He is so smart, so loving and such a joy to be around.

Camping trip and a tooth!

Took Remi camping labor day weekend with family and friends. Remi did super well. We were a bit nervous on how we were going to handle a crawling baby while camping but it worked out great. We have this super big mat and we set it on the ground for him to play on. And luckily, Remi wouldn't crawl off it 'cause he didn't like the feel and texture of the grass and dirt.

He didn't sleep very well though. We brought the play pen for him but it was pretty cold and I was nervous that he'd roll around, get uncovered and get super cold. So I had him laying next to me on a pile of blankets, that way I could makes sure he was covered. That didn't work well 'cause he rather sleep WITH me then next to me. It was a total of 3 nights so I didn't get much sleep the whole weekend.

He also cut his first TOP tooth over the weekend!! He was a little grumpy but not bad for cutting a tooth and a 5 hour car ride.
